Continuing with the changes: going forward, "Ava Rummel's Crib" will not be located at this web address. I was able to import over all of our posts from this blog, and the comments to the new site! So nothing is lost. The new address (to update your bookmark with) is:
Similar to Phanfare, this new location will benefit us and you. The main problem with this site was the hassle of leaving a comment. On the new site, you can easily add a comment with just your name/email. There's also a "Like" button you can use (if you sign up for a Wordpress account, which is quick and painless) if you want.
A few other things on the new site are:
- A search box
- An option to receive email notifications when there's a new post
- Links to other sites (if you have any you'd like me to add, just let me know)
- A list of "Words Ava Kind Of Knows", which we'll update
- A drop-down box that lets you filter by category (basically, names or themes of past posts)
- Recent comments
- It looks cooler!
I'm hoping you guys like this as much as we do.
